Built on a Vision 

Forest River was founded in 1996 by RV industry veteran Peter Liegl. Liegl’s experiences in the RV industry had led him to the conclusion that RV camping could be drastically improved. His belief was that if RV manufacturers put in more effort, then customers would take notice. In many ways, Liegl’s conclusions have been validated, as Forest River has since grown into one of the largest RV manufacturers in North America. In all those decades, the company’s focus has not changed. Forest River still produces a variety of high-quality models to ensure that customers have enough options to find one that’s right for them. 

 

Quality 

One factor that has helped Forest River to stand out among even the stiffest of competition is the company’s absolute commitment to quality. While all RV manufacturers put their models through safety inspections. Forest River randomly selects RVs from each batch to undergo a more rigorous testing procedure at a special 20,000-square-foot pre-delivery inspection (PDI) building. The chosen RVs are checked for things like electrical issues, plumbing problems, LP system concerns, and difficulties handling torrential rain, among other things. These tests help ensure quality and provide data that can be used to improve future Forest River models.
